this is a private and canon divergent portrayal of alison dilaurentis of freeform's pretty little liars with heavy headcanoning and no book influence.
i generally portray ali pre series and up to season 4a but will write 4b+ if we plot that.

the biggest things that aren't canon on my blog are every a reveal after mona, alex drake, cece being a dilaurentis, and spencer being mary's daughter.
my ali apologizes personally and in depth to the girls about her treatment of them and actually gets to confront her family's abuse of her as well as how they influenced her to be abusive when she was 14. she's still shady and can be a thot bc she's still ali and she's also being framed for murder.
furthermore, ali is diagnosed with ptsd, bipolar i, and bpd upon returning and is pushed to go to therapy. one day i'll write real meta abt that bc that's super important to me.
since cece isn't a, alison doesn't stay in rosewood after graduating college. she cuts ties with her family aside from jason and moves to a big city. what exactly happens from there is verse dependent
oh also? my ali is jewish. ali is ethnically sephardic but was raised catholic and she finds her faith in hashem and converts to reform judaism after her return. it is extremely unlikely that if we're writing pre ali's return your muse knows she is jewish.
